IceCaps Sign Defenceman Billingsley to PTO

ST. JOHN'S, NL - Montreal Canadiens and St. John's IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have signed defenceman Tim Billingsley to a Professional Tryout contract (PTO).
The 27-year-old, Orleans, Ontario native has spent the past two seasons with the Brampton Beast of the ECHL, collecting 27 points in 60 games this year.
The six-foot-two, 201-pounder was selected in the seventh round (189th overall) by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
