New Mexico Ice Wolves News Release
Albuquerque, NMÃÂ - We are pleased to announce that we have signed forward Nikolai Dulak to our fifth tender contract for the 2020-21 season. Dulak is a 17-year-old native of Mahtomedi, MN.
Nikolai has spent four years playing for Mahtomedi High (USHS-MN), tallying 114 points in 98 games played (51g, 63a). The 5-foot-9, 160-pound left-handed shooter was named Mahtomedi's captain this season and leads his team in goals with 23. He has also played the last two seasons for Team Northeast (Upper Midwest HS Elite League Hockey).
During this year's playoffs, Nikolai led the team in points (9) and assists (6). This will be the fourth straight year Dulak will be playing in the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament (Class A).
Phil Fox, the Head Coach/GM of the New Mexico Ice Wolves said, "Nikolai is someone we've been following a while now. He has all the intangibles that we're looking for upfront [He] sees the game very well and competes all over the ice. He also makes players around him better. We're excited to have Nikolai join us after his team competes for a state title."
