Owen Pederson recorded the first five point night of his WHL career with two goals and three assists to lead the Winnipeg ICE to a 7-4 victory over the Red Deer Rebels Wednesday night.

Skyler Bruce and Connor McClennon also scored twice for the 17-1 ICE. Conor Geekie rounded out the scoring as their winning streak extends to 12 games.

Jace Isley scored twice for the Rebels (15-2). Carson Birnie and Frantisek Formanek had the other goals.

Winnipeg outshot Red Deer 31-19. Goaltender Daniel Hauser (13-0) earned the victory while Rhett Stoesser (5-1) suffered the loss.

The ICE went 4/5 on the powerplay, the Rebels were 0/2.

Winnipeg is back in action Saturday night, 8:30 at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena as they host the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffery Lawyers.
