The Winnipeg ICE continue to rewrite the Western Hockey League record books.

Owen Pederson and Zack Ostapchuk each scored twice in a 6-1 decision over the visiting Prince Albert Raiders Sunday at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena giving Winnipeg their 55th win of the season, a new WHL record for wins during a 68 game regular season schedule.

ICE goaltender Daniel Hauser, who made 29 saves, earned his 37th win of the season setting a new franchise record for regular season wins. Wyatt Hoflin had the previous mark of 36 wins during the 2014-15 season with the Kootenay ICE.

Defencemen Graham Sward and Ben Zloty also scored for the 55-9-1 ICE, who completed a six game regular season series sweep of the Raiders.

Captain Carson Lambos had eight shots on goal as the ICE outshot the Prince Albert 47-30.

Carter Anderson had the lone Raider marker. Goaltender Max Hildebrand allowed six goals on 42 shots before being pulled in favour of Tikhon Chaika with 8:40 remaining in regulation time.

The ICE host Moose Jaw, 7:00 Wednesday night at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming. A win against the Warriors would set a new WHL record for home wins during a 68 game regular season schedule with 30.
