Ice Pilots Participate In Safety Belt and Bicycle Helmet Week

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they are teaming up with the Pensacola Police Department to stress the importance to school kids to wear their seat belts and safety bicycle helmets.

Ice Pilots players Jason Beckett and Bill Kinkel will be at A.K. Suter Elementary School on Thursday, December 16th beginning at 7:15 a.m. donating ticket vouchers which would enable students, who wear their seat belts and safety bike helmet to school, to attend the Ice Pilots home game vs. the Charlotte Checkers on Friday, December 17th at 7:05 p.m. for free.

Ice Pilots player Bill Kinkel will appear in the Cellular South Christmas Parade with the Ice Pilots t-shirt launcher this Saturday in downtown Pensacola beginn! ing at 5:15 p.m.

The Ice Pilots will play home to the Texas Wildcatters this Friday night at 7:05 p.m. It is Toys for Tots Night. Fans are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to the game to donate to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. The first 1,000 fans will receive a twenty ounce stadium cup from Toys for Tots. Dr. Lloyd K. Ritchie, the Ice Pilots official team dentist, will have the tooth fairy at the game and Hill Kelly Dodge will be giving away t-shirts during the intermission.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets, birthday parties, the Ice Pilots holiday ticket package and corporate sponsorships, fans can call the Ice Pilots at 432-PUCK.
