Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce "Tickets for Troops" for the upcoming 2007-08 season. The new program offers an opportunity for local businesses and residents to show their support for the Military by donating 10 game ticket packages to Active Duty Military Personnel stationed in the Pensacola area.
"This is a great opportunity for people in the area to show their support to all the military located at all the bases around Pensacola," said Ice Pilots' President Greg Schuh. "Not only does the program support the military, but it also helps support hockey in Pensacola. We as an organization are proud to do our part by offering an affordable donation package."
The packages come at a discounted rate of $80 per seat and allow the individual to choose which 10 games to attend. The Ice Pilots will work with the local bases to distribute the tickets. Those who choose to donate a ticket package will also have the option to select a specific troop to receive the tickets.
Each person who makes a donation will be recognized on a special page in the Ice Pilots 2007-08 Souvenir Program. For more information on how to participate in the "Tickets for Troops" Program, contact Aaron Horowitz at (850)-432-7825 ext. 102 or ahorowitz@icepilots.com.
