PENSACOLA, Fla. (November 30, 2018)- The Pensacola Ice Flyers fell to the Birmingham Bulls 3-0. The Bulls' goals were scored by Nick Owen, Jacob Barber and Josh Harris. The Ice Flyers outshot the Bulls 41 to 22.

The lone goal scored in the first period belonged to Birmingham. The goal was scored by Nick Owen on the power play at 14:39. He was assisted by Loren Ulett and Garrett Johnston. Birmingham outshot Pensacola 12 to 9.

2:51 into the second period Jacob Barber scored with assists from Josh Harris and Garrett Johnston to bring the Bulls' lead up 2-0 over the Ice Flyers. Despite outshooting the Bulls 14 to 8, Pensacola still failed to get on the board.

Josh Harris made it 3-0 Birmingham 11:23 into the third period with help from Mike Davis and Garrett Johnston's assists. The Ice Flyers once again outshot the Bulls 18 to 2 but came up emptyhanded.

NOTES:

Get those bears ready Ice Flyers fans! Friday, December 7 is Teddy Bear Toss Night! Puck drops at 7:35 p.m.! Fans are encouraged to bring new bears to the game to be thrown on the ice after the first Ice Flyers goal of the game. All bears will be collected and donated to the Struder Family Children's Hospital at Sacred Heart and other local organizations.

December 8 is Christmas Celebration Night here at The Hangar! Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater to the game! The players will be wearing specialty elf jerseys that will be auctioned off in section 103 after the game! You don't want to miss this! Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.

Fans who were in attendance for the game held on Friday, November 16 are encouraged to hold on to their tickets. SMG is going to provide a voucher for a free food item or non-alcoholic beverage. Fans can redeem this voucher at the Pensacola Bay Center Box Office starting on Monday, November 19. This voucher will be valid for any Ice Flyers regular season game for the 2018-19 season beginning with the game on Wednesday, November 21.
