Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release
Pensacola, Fla - The Pensacola Ice Flyers fall to the Huntsville Havoc in The Hangar Friday night. Though the Ice Flyers fought throughout the match showing heart and determination they could not pull off the win.
Pensacola's veteran goalie Ryan Scott, who is returning to the net after a lengthy absence, recorded 26 saves on 28 shots. "We had a few chances in the end of the third to tie it up but the puck just wasn't bouncing our way," Head Coach Todd Gordon commented. "Scott had a great game ... we just couldn't seem to find the back of the net."
The Ice Flyers will have their chance to gain revenge when the Havoc returns to The Hangar next Saturday February 25 for Guaranteed Fight Night, presented by UFC. Special guest Alan Belcher, UFC/Remix MMA fighter will be in attendance. For additional information on games or promotions call (850) 466-3111 or visit www.pensacolaiceflyers.com.
