
Ice Dogs switch up roster

Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Boston Bruins, have announced they have acquired defenseman Stuart Kerr from the Phoenix RoadRunners for future considerations and have signed forward Brad Bonello in a separate deal. Per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed. T.J. Trevelyan and Chris Collins have been returned from the Providence Bruins after they each played in one game for the Providence Bruins and recorded no points.
Kerr, 22, did not play any games for the Phoenix RoadRunners this season. The 6'3" 185 pounder played 51 games between the Reading Royals and the Pensacola Ice Pilots last season and recorded three goals, four assists, and 71 penalty minutes.
Bonello, 22, played 15 games between the Port Huron Flags and the Bloomington Prairie Thunder in the UHL this season and recorded two goals, three assists, and 39 penalty minutes. The 5'9", 170 pounder played 57 games in the ECHL last season with the Toledo Storm and the Greenville Grrrowl and recorded 19 goals, 29 assists, and 87 penalty minutes. Brad also played eight games with the Grand Rapids Griffins in the AHL and recorded one assist and 12 penalty minutes.
Trevelyan, who leads the Ice Dogs in goals (9) and points (17) at the time of the recall, and Collins, who is tied for third in points (12), each played their first game in the AHL for the Providence Bruins in a 2-0 loss at the Lowell Devils. Collins and Trevelyan each recorded three shots in their American Hockey League debuts.
The Ice Dogs are in the middle of a seven game road trip and play at the Stockton Thunder on Friday, December 1st, at 7:30pm.
