Ice Dogs Complete Trio Of Champs

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that forward Jeff Drummond has agreed to terms for the 2005-2006 season. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 5'7", 170-pound forward from Leduc, Alberta played all four years at the University of Denver, winning two national championships with Jonathon Foster and Kevin Ulanski, also signed this off-season by the Ice Dogs. In 153 games played, he had 45 goals, 55 assists and 76 penalty minutes. Last season, he had 39 points in 42 games as well as having the third best +/- with a +29, finishing his college career with exactly 100 points.

"Jeff is a very speedy, dynamic player who played on Denver's top line last year", said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Malcolm Cameron. "He had an outstanding four year career. His excellent speed and tremendous offensive skills make him an exciting addition to the Ice Dogs this season."

"I'm really excited to get to Long Beach", said Drummond. "I'm looking forward to meeting my new teammates and getting to play with Jon [Foster] and Kevin [Ulanski] again."
