Huskies End Wildcats Streak

The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies ended the Moncton Wildcats 12 game winning streak with a 7-3 win at the Coliseum on Tuesday night.

The Huskies led 3-1 after the first, 5-1 after the second and despite a two goal performance by David Savard, the Wildcats were unable to turn the game around in the third period. Scott Trask scored the other Moncton goal in the first.

Jordan Caron scored twice for Rouyn, singles went to Jeff Dejardins, Dimtry Kostromitin, Jerome Raymond, Jerome Gauthier-Leduc and Sergey Ostapchuk.

The Wildcats out shot the Huskies 31-29.
