A Dozen Straight Wins:

The thrilling 2-1 victory over Victoriaville on Thursday and the 6-3 doubling of Acadie-Bathurst on Friday extended the Wildcats winning streak to 12 games.

Attendance on Thursday was 5079, Friday night 4272 - Year to Date - 110,078

* 50/50 Prize Pot on Thursday was $10,143; winner was Sarah Alexander William/ Friday, $5261.00, winner was Luc Legere - Year to Date total $155,126.00.

Other Prize Winners:

Cats At Home To Huskies Tonight:

- Tonight's game against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies is a make up game from November 6th. Fans with tickets for the November game will have them honored at tonight's game. It's also ticket redemption night.The Huskies are in 7th place in the overall League standings, 10 points back of the second place Wildcats.

- Legends Restaurant opens at 5 pm, two hours before game time at 7.

- Tomorrow night, the Wildcats travel to Charlottetown for a 7 o'clock game with the PEI Rocket. You can follow the game on News 91.9 and the Telus website

- The third and final make up game will be played on March 8th against the Montreal Juniors.

- A note to all fans, the starting time for the March 14th game, the final game of the Rivalry Cup, will start at 8 pm instead of 7 and will be carried live on Rogers SportsNet.

Rivalry Cup Round 6 Revs Up:

* Look for the action to be fast and furious when the Wildcats and Saint John Sea Dogs meet in Round 6 of the Rivalry Cup on Saturday night at the Coliseum. The Sea Dogs are rated number one ranked CHL team in the country but the Wildcats are on their heels after climbing in the ratings last week. Three games remain in this year's Rivalry Cup and the Wildcats need wins in all three in order to catch the Dogs. Fans can expect the 50/50 pot to soar over $10,000.00. In addition there will be over $100,000. 00 in prizes from Toys for Big Boys including ATV's, Honda and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Legends opens at 5pm for pre-game meals, Coliseum doors open at 6pm and the puck drops at 7pm. Tickets available by calling 857-4100 or on line at www.moncton-wildcats.com.

* As part of the Rivalry Cup Fan Challenge, the Booster Club is planning a bus trip for the Cup game set for Saint John on March 5th. Book your seat at the Booster Club booth on the Mezzanine.

* Voting to have Moncton as on of the cities on the new Canadian Monopoly Board can still be done at Saturday night's game. Check the voting areas at Fan Services, behind section 7 on the Mezzanine and at Legends Restaurant, let's make our City one of the 20 to be on the Board come July 1st.

Playoff Packages Now In Mail:

Look for your playoff packages in the mail this week. Be sure to book your seats for what promises to be the most exciting playoff run in the last four years. The Wildcats expect to go deep in the playoffs and you won't want to miss a single minute of all of the action and excitement.

Cats Community Calendar:

- Sunday was a day of unique hockey experience for the PeeWee Eagles team of Oromocto. The young hockey players got to spend an hour on the ice with the entire coaching staff of the Moncton Wildcats, along with 10 players including goaltenders Nicola Riopel and Shane Owen. Winners of the Old Dutch Foods national contest, the Eagles were put through the same drills and workouts the Wildcats experience during a regular practice. Wildcats head coach Danny Flynn and the Cats tried to let the visitors experience what a major junior practice consists of. The Eagles then got to travel on the Wildcats bus to Boston Pizza to bring a fitting end to their exciting day. Look for the Eagles to be in the stands on February 19th, they'll be guests of the Wildcats when the Rimouski Oceanic come to town. It will also be Military Appreciation Night.

Cats Support Party-On-The Pond:

Look for the Wildcats to be out in full force for the City of Moncton's Party on the Pond, next Sunday, February 7th at Centennial Park. Starting at noon, there will be all kinds of family activity including sliding, skating, pick-up hockey games and cross country skiing. Wildcats players will be delighted to sign autographs and spend time talking with their fans.
