LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Monday that they have acquired a conditional 2023 draft pick from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for 2001-born defenseman Zach Ashton.
Ashton, 19, was originally acquired by the Hurricanes in October from the Seattle Thunderbirds. The Calgary, Alberta product appeared in 41 games with the T-Birds in 2019-2020 totaling seven assists along with a minus-9 rating and 27 penalty minutes.
