2020 Brandon Wheat Kings Teddy Bear Toss Goes Mobile

December 14, 2020 - Western Hockey League (WHL) - Brandon Wheat Kings News Release

This year the Brandon Wheat Kings and Precision Toyota are teaming up with the United Way Brandon and District for the 2020 Teddy Bear Toss to help raise funds and provide stuffed animals for those in need during the holiday season!

For the past 26 seasons the Teddy Bear Toss has been one of the most popular games of the season for Wheat Kings fans. When the Wheat Kings score their first goal of the night, the whole crowd donates stuffed animals by throwing them on the ice for Santa Claus to distribute to children in the Westman region.

On Friday, December 18th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, you can deliver your stuffed animal or monetary donation to the south parking lot of the Keystone Centre where the Teddy Bear Toss convoy will be parked and waiting to greet the community!

Members of the Wheat Kings organization will be on site listening to Christmas music and greeting those who wish to donate and share some holiday cheer!

Anyone willing to donate a stuffed animal is encouraged to wrap the toy in a plastic bag to make sure it stays clean. All of the stuffed toys collected on Saturday will be donated to the United Way Brandon & District, a partner with the Wheat Kings who continues to help our great community. Perhaps this year more than ever in recent history, sharing some Christmas cheer during the holiday season can go a long way. The Brandon Wheat Kings would like to thank Precision Toyota, C&C Rentals, RONA Brandon and Trident Music for helping with this great cause.
