
Hurricanes Take Down Hitmen, 4-1

Lethbridge, AB - The Calgary Hitmen fired 37 shots on goal but fell 4-1 on the road to the Hurricanes in Lethbridge on Wednesday night at the ENMAX Centre.
'Canes goaltender Harrison Meneghin was instrumental in the victory making 36 saves, including stopping all 17 second period shots during the Hitmen's biggest push.
Oliver Tulk, on a third period penalty shot, counted his team-leading 14th goal of the season for the lone Calgary tally.
Miguel Marques paced the Lethbridge attack with a pair of markers while Elias Knoester and Joe Arntsen added singles on a night where the Hurricanes built period leads of 1-0 and 3-0.
Alex Garrett went the distance in the Hitmen net with the rookie goalie making 29 saves in his seventh appearance of the season.
With the loss, Calgary is now 2-1-1 against their Central Division rivals and 10-11-3 overall while Lethbridge improves to 14-10-2-0.
The Hitmen are idle on Thursday and will wrap up their three-game Central Division road trip in Medicine Hat against the Tigers on Friday, Dec. 1. Game time is 7:00 p.m. It will be the first meeting with their Trans-Canada Highway rivals since an opening weekend home-and-home set in late September.
