Swift Current would keep the pressure on as off a turnover at 7:08 as Ryan McCleary would make it 2-0 Broncos with his 6th of the season. Despite a plethora of saves from McCallum, at the conclusion of a Broncos power play, Brady Birnie would backhand his 9th of the season from McCleary & Peyton Kettles.

Medicine Hat would respond late in the 1st as Cayden Lindstrom (Chetwynd, BC) would one-time his team leading 19th of the season past Broncos starter Matthew Kieper at 16:59 from Andrew Basha (Calgary, AB) & Dru Krebs (Okotoks, AB) giving the Tigers some push of their own heading to the 2nd just down 3-1.

Despite having a late double minor power play the Tigers wouldn't be able to tie things up heading to the third period.

The Tigers would start the third with a penalty kill and successfully take of the infraction but shortly after the Broncos would get the insurance mark they'd need as Tyson Laventure would notch his 10th of the season at 2:55 to move the Swift Current lead to 4-2.

Medicine Hat would look to rally as Rhett Parsons (Cremona, AB) would wrist his second in as many games for his 3rd of the season to make it 4-3 at 15:44 from captain Tyler MacKenzie (Red Deer, AB) & Oasiz Wiesblatt would get his second point on the evening.

With the extra attacker the Tigers could not find the equalizer and Connor Hvidston would finish off the scoring at 19:07 with his second of the night, insuring the Broncos 5-3 win over the Tigers.

Medicine Hat drops their record to 16-7-2 still atop the Central Division heading into their weekend action against the Calgary Hitmen Friday and Prince Albert Saturday at Co-op Place.
