Kennewick, WA - Captain Trevor Wong recorded his 200th career point in the Saskatroon Blades 6-3 victory Tuesday over the Tri-City Americans at the Toyota Center.

The 5-foot-9 center came into the game at 198 points in his career and dished two helpers to crack the impressive milestone. 31 of those points came in a Kelowna Rockets sweater before scoring the remainder with the Blades from the 2021-22 season onwards. The WHL's leading assist man has 41 points (6G, 35A) in 26 games this year.

Anaheim Ducks draft pick Egor Sidorov scored his third hat-trick of the month. The Belarusian sniper is averaging a goal-per-game in his third WHL season, owning 33 points (24G, 9A) in 24 games. 20-year-old forward Easton Armstrong recorded four points (1G, 3A) in the victory, earning second star honours on the night.

19-year-old netminder Austin Elliott returned to the win column stopping 29 shots, improving his record to 12-4-1-0.

The Blades are back on top in the Eastern Conference with a 17-8-1-0 record, two points ahead of the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Forward Lukas Hansen put the Blades on the board first 5:56 into the game with his eighth goal of the year. The Winnipeg, MB product had a strong finish on a second attempt after driving the net and wrapped around Americans netminder Kyle Kelsey. Hansen has 13 points (8G, 5A) in 24 games this season. The Blades headed into the dressing room up a goal at first intermission.

Sidorov scored his first of three goals on the evening 43 seconds into the middle frame to give Saskatoon a 2-0 lead. Wong collected his first of two assists on the goal, putting him one shy of 200 career points with plenty of time on the clock.

Tri-City forward Parker Bell cut the Blades lead in half with his eighth goal of the season 8:39 into the second. The score stood setting up a dramatic third period.

The final 20 minutes saw the ice open up as Sidorov scored his second of the contest 9:11 into the third. The 6-foot winger showed how lethal his backhand shot can be delivering a shot with oomf over Kelsey to make it 3-1.

Tri-City forward Deagan McMillan scored 8:35 into the third to bring his club within one again.

Sidorov completed the hat-trick 46 seconds later for his third hat-trick in November.

Goalless in his past 17 games, forward Vaughn Watterodt got back on the scoresheet in a big way 36 seconds later with the insurance goal of the night to make it 5-2. The Rosetown, SK product hasn't had an ideal start offensively to the season, but the chemistry found with former Kamloops Blazers linemate Fraser Minten and Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick Brandon Lisowsky has been seen immediately. In 26 games, Watterodt has four goals and ten points.

Armstrong completed the four-point night by scoring on the Americans empty-net late in the game. Wong got his second assist on the night with the goal, cracking the 200-point milestone.

Forward Pasha Bocharov scored one more time for the Americans before game in to make it a 6-3 Blades win.
