106.7 ROCK Three Star Award: The 106.7 ROCK Three Star Award winner in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes forward Tyson Zimmer.

Zimmer, who hails from Russell, Manitoba, was named a star on 11 occasions this season. He was named a first star six times, a second start twice and a third start three times. In the 11 times he was named a start, nine times the Hurricanes were victorious while being named a first star five times in those nine wins.

Canadian Tire South Top Scorer Award: The Canadian Tire South Top Scorer Award winner in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes forward Cole Shepard.

Shepard has set a new-career high with 55 points this season, including 20 goals and 35 assists. The overage forward from West Vancouver, British Columbia, leads the Hurricanes in assists, points, power play assists, shorthanded goals and shorthanded assists.

Herman Elfring Community Relations Award: The Herman Elfring Community Relations Award winners in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes defenceman Joe Arntsen.

Arntsen, from Dinsmore, Saskatchewan, has been a great ambassador in the community this season attending numerous events including hockey practices and school visits throughout the season going out of his way to always connect with the kids that are in attendance.

Hockey Hounds Scholastic Award: The Hockey Hounds Scholastic Award winner in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes defensemen Noah Chadwick.

Chadwick has great strength in high level academics. He completed his high school requirements one year early. This year he completed an online Microeconomics course through Athabasca University finishing with 94% (A+). He simultaneously completed an in-person university transfer elective course at the Lethbridge College finishing with an A+. He is currently working through his second online university course, Macroeconomics, with a current grade of 93%. His dedication and discipline have allowed him to find great success academically while sharing the responsibilities of hockey and other outside commitments.

Dennis Dirtwox Fan Favourite Award: The Dennis Dirtworx Fan Favourite Award winner in 2022-2023is Hurricanes forward Jett Jones.

Jones is a three-time recipient of the Hurricanes Fan Favourite Award joining Brad Rubachuk, Jason Hegberg and Tyler Wong as the only other players in team history to win the award three-or-more times. The Olds, Alberta product received 560,569 of the over one-million ballots cast - new record.

ENMAX Corporation Hardest Working Award: The ENMAX Corporation Hardest Working Award winners in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes defenceman Chase Pauls.

Pauls has established himself as one of the premier shutdown defenceman in the WHL while chipping in offensively with 19 points this year. The Osler, Saskatchewan product serves as an alternate captain and is consistently one of the hardest working players night in and night out.

Serfas Farms Top Defenseman Award: The Sefas Farms Top Defenseman Award winner in 2022-2023is Hurricanes defenseman Joe Arntsen.

Arntsen, who hails from Dinsmore, Saskatchewan, has been one of the most consistent defenceman all season long for the Hurricanes. He has established himself as one of the top shutdown rearguards in the WHL while setting a new career high in goals - he currently leads the 'Canes in defenceman scoring.

Joan Kobal Memorial Award: The Joan Kobal Memorial Award - which awards a player who demonstrates perseverance, dedication and sportsmanship - in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes goaltender Bryan Thomson.

Thomson has faced much adversity throughout his Hurricanes career and over the last calendar year.

Missing an entire summer and training camp last year after recovering from off-season hip surgery, Thomson returned to the Hurricanes lineup only to be re-injured just two games in. The product of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan has battled to return and has been outstanding posting career-bests in goals against average (2.58), save percentage (.921) and shutouts (3). He is also tied for second in all-time victories in team history with 58.

Carl Trentini Memorial Award (Rookie of the Year): The Carl Trentini Memorial Award winner in 2022-2023 as Rookie of the Year is Hurricanes goaltender Harrison Meneghin.

Meneghin started his rookie season as the back-up goaltender and quickly established himself as a bonified WHL starter, at one point starting 14 consecutive games. He has posted a record of 19-12-2-2 on the season while posting a 2.83 goals against average and a .908 save percentage with one shutout this year. The South Surrey, British Columbia product is ranked by the NHL Central Scouting Service for the upcoming NHL Draft and was named the WHL Goaltender of the Month in November.

Harry Ingarfield Memorial Award (Most Valuable Player) The Harry Ingarfield Memorial Award winner as Most Valuable Player in 2022-2023 is Hurricanes forward Jett Jones.

Jones has had a career year in his final WHL season. The Olds, Alberta product who was undrafted in the WHL Prospects Draft has set new career highs in goals (21), assists (28) and points (49) while taking most faceoffs than anyone else in the in the entire WHL this season.

He has served as the co-captain of the Hurricanes for the last two seasons.
