
Hulett Reports To Spokane

The Texas Rangers announced late this evening that they have signed their 14th round selection Tug Hulett, a second baseman from Auburn University. Hulett, the son of 12 year Major League veteran Tim Hulett, will join the Indians in Boise as they kick off the 2004 season with a three-game series versus the Hawks.
Hulett, who batted .306 for the Tigers this spring, was a 1st Team All-SEC selection in 2003 after batting .373 on the season. Hulett and the rest of Darryl Kennedy's Indians will return home to Avista Stadium on Monday, June 21st at 6:30 pm to face the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in a rematch of last year's Northwest League Championship Series.
