
Hugo Blixt Added to 2018 USHL/NHL Top Prospect Game Roster

Kearney, NE. - The United States Hockey League (USHL) announced today that Tri-City Storm defenseman Hugo Blixt has been added to the 2018 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game roster. Blixt will replace Jacob Semik of the Dubuque Fighting Saints who is injured. With the late addition of Hugo Blixt, the Tri-City Storm will now have four players in Tuesday night's game at the Viaero Center in Kearney, NE. Tyler Madden and Hugo Blixt will represent Team East, with Jace Foskey and Wyllum Deveaux representing Team West.
Blixt, 20, of Vasteras, Sweden is currently in his first season in the USHL skating with the Tri-City Storm. Blixt is currently among the USHL leaders for most points by a defenseman this season. He has added fifteen points to the Storm offense in 2017-2018 and is tied for the league lead in power play goals scored by a defenseman with two on the year. Blixt has scored two additional goals for a four goal total and has notched eleven assists in twenty six games played.
Blixt announced his commitment to Boston University on December 11th. He was drafted 64th overall in the 4th round of the 2017 USHL Draft by the Tri-City Storm.
