Houston Dynamo Loan Three Players to RGV FC for Opening Day

HOUSTON - The Houston Dynamo have loaned defender Kyle Adams, Academy product Eric McCue and forward Ronaldo Peña to Rio Grande Valley FC for their season opener at home against Los Angeles Galaxy II on Sunday, the club announced today.
The match is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. CDT kickoff at H-E-B Park on Sunday and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Adams served as the captain of RGV FC throughout the 2019 USL Championship season and finished with 52 appearances in two seasons for the South Texas club. The 23-year-old led the Toros in clearances with 109 last season and finished second in blocked shots with 22.
McCue made his professional debut on March 29, 2019 and the 19-year-old finished with two starts and three appearances in his first year with the Toros. The Academy alum recorded five interceptions and four blocks in 184 minutes for RGV.
Peña finished with one assist and one key pass in three games for the Toros last season. The Venezuelan attacker finished with a 74 percent pass success rate in 176 minutes for RGV.
