Houston Dynamo Announce Remainder of 2020 Regular Season Schedule

HOUSTON - Major League Soccer announced the remaining fixtures for the 2020 regular season, including the final nine matches for the Houston Dynamo.

Five of the matches will be played at BBVA Stadium with a limited number of fans in attendance as the Club resumes public events with new protocols approved by local health and government officials. Dynamo 365 Members will receive exclusive first access to claim tickets for all five matches before tickets go on sale to the general public.

October will be an extremely busy month for the Dynamo, as they play eight matches over a 28-day period. Houston will open the month at BBVA Stadium with their fourth and final meeting with Sporting Kansas City. Houston has won two of the three meetings thus far with their longtime rivals and will look to capture the season series with a win or a draw.

The Dynamo will face in-state rivals FC Dallas twice over the final nine games, bringing that series total to four meetings by the end of the year. Houston will play host on Wednesday, Oct. 7 before traveling to Frisco on Saturday, Oct. 31 for the fourth and final leg of the 2020 Texas Derby. Dallas has the edge through two meetings, with a home win and a draw in Houston so far.

The match at FC Dallas on Oct. 31 will be televised nationally on Univision, as will the Dynamo's first trip to South Florida to take on expansion side Inter Miami CF on Oct. 10.

Following Houston's visit to Miami, the Dynamo will host Nashville SC for the first time at BBVA Stadium on Oct. 14. The Dynamo will then travel to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota United FC for the third time this season on Sunday, Oct. 18.

The Dynamo will face their third Eastern Conference rival of the season the following week when they host Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, Oct. 24. Four days later the team will make its longest road trip of the year when they visit Los Angeles FC at Banc of California Stadium.

Houston will close the regular season against the Colorado Rapids on Decision Day at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8 at BBVA Stadium.
