
Houston Dash to Host Watch Party Tomorrow Night for U.S. Women's National Team Semifinal

HOUSTON (Monday, June 29, 2015) - The Houston Dash will host a watch party tomorrow, June 30, as the U.S. Women's National Team faces Germany in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Semifinals.
The watch party will take place at The Phoenix on Westheimer (1915 Westheimer Rd., Houston, 77098) and is open to all ages. The match kicks off at 6 p.m. (FOX, NBC Universo). Dash players Bianca Henninger and Toni Pressleywill be in attendance, signing autographs for fans and presenting giveaways during halftime.
The United States defeated China 1-0 last Friday to advance to their fifth World Cup semifinal. Dash midfielder Carli Lloyd scored the only goal for the Americans, her second in as many games, as Morgan Brian and Meghan Klingenberg also started and played the full 90 minutes. The U.S. is currently No. 2 in the FIFA Women's World Rankings, while Germany is No. 1. The winner of Tuesday's match advances to the final on July 5 against the winner of Japan vs. England, while the loser will take part in the third place match on July 4. The U.S. and Germany are tied for the most Women's World Cup championships, with two apiece.
