The Aeros welcome the Abbotsford Heat for their first ever meeting today, 4:05 p.m. at Toyota Center. The Aeros return home off a three games in three days road trip in which they went 1-1-1-0 including a 6-2 victory over Milwaukee Friday. The Heat finish up their own three-in-three road trip today in Houston. The Heat defeated San Antonio last night 3-2 in a shootout. Houston and Abbotsford will meet three more times this season. AEROS NOTES

Multiplicity - Forwards Jon DiSalvatore and Nathan Smith each have recorded two straight multi-point games each tallying a goal and an assist. C Cody Almond registered his first career multi-point game to go along with his first career goal Friday at Milwaukee.

Off the Snide - LW Matt Kassian registered an assist Friday in Milwaukee. His first point in 37 games dating back to last season.

Lighting the Lamp - The Aeros have scored 4+ goals in six of their last 10; however, they've also allowed 4+ goals in five of the last seven.

Squadron Leaders - DiSalvatore took over the club lead in goals scored netting his 13th of the season at Milwaukee Friday. RW J-M Daoust leads the team with 16 assists and points with 28 (12-16=28) after recording two helpers Friday. Kassian continues to lead Houston with 73 PIM.

Special Teams - The Aeros are four for their last seven on the powerplay as their numbers on the man advantage continue to improve. They're now 24 of 160 for an even 15% (20th AHL). RW Danny Irmen scored the club's fourth shorthanded goal Friday at Milwaukee.

Milestones - D Justin Falk is two games away from his 100th in an Aeros sweater. Irmen is two points away from his 100th career AHL point.

Home Sweet Home - Tonight is only one of four home games in the month of January for the Aeros.
