Fans unable to make the game can tune in to all the action on The Justice Network 23.3 beginning at 3:30 p.m. with IceHogs Warmup. Today's action marks the first IceHogs game available on radio in over four years, as the contest will be aired on Sports Fan 1330 AM. Fans can also listen to the game at WXRX.com or watch live at AHLlive.com.

The IceHogs (2-2-0-0) are looking to polish off the three weekend games with a third-straight win, and push their record over .500 for the first time this season. They will be tasked with dispatching a Cleveland Monsters (2-1-0-0) team that won back-to-back games over the IceHogs to start the 2016-17 campaign.

Last night's contest was the first of the season for the Hogs at the BMO Harris Bank Center, and it provided a thriller for the 5,465 fans in attendance. Rockford and Milwaukee were scoreless after the first until Mark McNeill and Carl Dahlstrom scored to put the IceHogs up 2-0. Milwaukee needed just 21 seconds to answer the second strike, and 1:01 after that to tie the game. A shootout proved necessary, where Rockford took the 3-2 victory.

Dahlstrom recorded his first career AHL goal with a blast from the blue line late in the second period. Each of the other three goal scorers in the contest registered their first tallies of the season. Goaltender Lars Johansson earned first-star honors for the hometown team, helping Rockford kill off two penalties in overtime and denying both shooters he faced in the shootout to pick up the win.

While the Monsters have already taken two victories over the IceHogs in the early part of the 2016-17 season, last year was a tale of home ice advantage between the two sides. Rockford took all four games in regulation over Cleveland at the BMO Harris Bank Center, and went 0-3-1-0 in western Ohio. The Monsters are also coming in to the game after falling 3-2 to the Grand Rapids Griffins at Van Andel Arena last night. Cleveland is led offensively by former IceHog Alex Broadhurst (3G-1A) and 2015-16 AHL assist leader T.J. Tynan (1G-3A) with four points each.

Trick-or-Treat with the Hogs: After this afternoon's contest against the Monsters, fans are invited to join the team on the BMO Harris Bank Center ice for a trick-or treat event. Fans are encouraged to wear costumes to the game. Prior to the start, the first 1,500 fans to the arena will receive clear tote bags courtesy of Dr. Sexson Orthodontics.
