
Homestand begins Saturday

WINOOSKI, VT --- The Vermont Expos begin a six-game homestand this Saturday that has the Batavia Muckdogs (affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies) at Centennial Field Saturday-Monday and the Brooklyn Cyclones (affiliate of the New York Mets) in town Tuesday-Thursday.
Some of the highlights of the homestand include St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, a remote control dig on Monday, an appearance by a Dale Earnhardt Sr. show car on Tuesday and an appearance by Myron Noodleman on Thursday.
The homestand kicks off with St. Patrick's Day in July on Saturday with Irish music, green beer and lots more. Sunday is Vermont State Parks Night with 1,000 Soft Lunch Box Coolers to be given away.
On Monday, all gentlemen 18 and over will receive different colored bracelet when they enter the park. Sometime during the game, one color will be selected and all men 18-plus with that color will be able to go out onto the Centennial infield after the game and dig for a remote control. The person who finds the remote control will win a 36" JVC television from The Superstore.
The three-game series with Brooklyn opens on Tuesday night and Champ 101.3 FM will have the Dale Earnhardt Sr. #3 Monte Carlo Show Car on display at the field. The car is one that was raced at some point during the late Earnhardt Sr. NASCAR career.
The homestand concludes against the Cyclones with 750 Vermont Expos Uncut Baseball Card sets to be given away on Wednesday and an appearance by Myron Noodleman in the finale on Thursday. Noodleman will entertain all of the Centennial fans in all of his nerd glory.

Monday, July 19th --- vs. Batavia --- SUPERSTORE REMOTE DIG! All Gentlemen 18 and over have chance to win a 36" JVC TV Different color bracelets will be handed out to all men 18+ and one color will than be chosen Those men 18+ with that color bracelet after the game will dig in the infield for a remote control
