Hudson Valley Renegades News Release

FISHKILL, NY [July 14, 2004] - Once again the Renegades are providing a unique event in conjunction with a home game. On Thursday July 15, the Hudson Valley Renegades in conjunction with their Pitch For Kids Foundation will be hosting the first ever "Brides and Baseball" event at Dutchess Stadium, before and during the Renegades home game that night. Due to the pre-game festivities, the time of the first pitch will be 7:30 p.m. instead of the usual 7:11 p.m. start time.

Before the game, there will be a mass renewal of wedding vows on the field with an ordained Elvis impersonator. As of press time, there are over 35 couples set to step on the field to renew their vows, under the blessing of "The King." After their vows have been renewed, there will be a second Elvis impersonator who will sing "Love Me Tender" for the couples' second First Dance.

In addition to the couples who are attending the game to renew their vows, there will also be numerous brides on hand to see what various vendors have to offer. In between innings, there will be a bridal fashion show on top of the dugout with all of the latest bridal fashions on display.

For more information about the "Brides and Baseball" event or the Renegades Pitch For Kids Foundation please call Rick Zolzer (845) 838-0094 ext. 231.
