Worcester Tornadoes News Release

WORCESTER, MA- If you were at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field this past week, hold onto your ticket stub! You were part of history as the Worcester Tornadoes attracted more than 19,000 fans to their six game home stand against the Nashua Pride and the Brockton Rox. The crowd was the largest to pass through the HIP for any six game home stand in the club's two year history. The average crowd over the six games reached a "sellout" level of 3,176.

"We want to thank our fans for making Hanover Insurance Park the place to be this summer", said General Manager Todd Marlin. "These attendance numbers illustrate that Tornadoes baseball is providing the affordable family fun to our fans which has been our goal since day one."

Keep being a part of Worcester Tornadoes' lore when the Tornadoes return to town for a three-game series against the Sussex Skyhawks beginning on Tuesday, August 22nd at 7:05 P.M.
