Quebec 3B Ryan Lehr and DH Mathieu Bergeron each homered and drove in three runs to lead the Capitales past New Jersey 12-5. 2B Dany Scalabrini added three hits and an RBI of his own to a Quebec offense that had five batters get at least two hits in the game. Relief pitcher Juan Hernandez picked up the win for the Capitales, his first of the season. For New Jersey, 1B Bill Peavey went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
