
Red Sox Great George Scott To Visit Cutters

WEST HAVEN, CT - Former Red Sox' All-Star George Scott will visit Historic Yale Field Thursday, Aug. 17, when they Cutters host the North Shore Spirit, and serve as the featured attraction for the evening's special event - Red Sox/Yankees Rivalry Night.
Scott's Major League career from spanned 1966-79 when he primarily played first base for four teams including both the Boston Red Sox (1966-71, 1977-79) and the New York Yankees (1979).
Scott is a three-time All-Star (1966, '75, '77) and eight-time Gold Glove Winner (1967-68, 1971-76). He led the American League with 36 home runs in 1975 and finished in the top 10 in the A.L. MVP voting twice (1967 and 1975).
Among the memorabilia items Scott will offer for sale to sign are: Official Major League bats, Red Sox and Yankees mini helmets and 8x10 color action photos.
