
Hogs fans take advantage of playoff deal in Kalamazoo

Rockford, Ill.- Friday marks the Rockford IceHogs return to the Colonial Cup Playoffs when the United Hockey League club opens the first round against the Kalamazoo Wings in Kalamazoo, Michigan. IceHogs fans can make the trip to Kalamazoo through a bus trip or with a deal extended to Hogs fans from the Wings.
The IceHogs Booster Club is sponsoring a bus trip for Saturday, April 16, when the IceHogs and Wings drop the puck for Game Two. The cost is $45 per person and it includes transportation to and from Kalamazoo and a ticket to the game. There are only 47 seats available, and seats are filling up fast. To reserve your seat, contact Booster Club Treasurer Jennifer Tobin at (815) 978-1053.
IceHogs fans can also contact the Wings front office at (269) 349-9772 to purchase tickets for $8, $11 or $13. Ticket prices are good for Game One on Friday, April 15; Game Two on Saturday, April 16 and if necessary, Game Five on Friday, April 22 and Game Seven on Tuesday, April 26.
Fans who make the journey to Kalamazoo can also stay at the Wings official Host Hotel, the Clarion Hotel at a special $64.95 per night rate. The Clarion Hotel is located at 3600 East Cork St. in Kalamazoo. For reservations, contact the Clarion Hotel at (269) 385-3922 and ask for the IceHogs Booster rate.
