Flint drops two of four in shootout

Week In Review - In league action last week, the Generals posted a record of 0-2-2 and could not qualify for the Colonial Cup Playoffs. Flint was eliminated from any chance for a playoff charge after dropping a 3-2 shooutout at Port Huron on Friday night. Leo Thomas and Jason Selleke scored for the Generals. Port Huron tied the game in the last minute of regulation time to force the shootout. On Friday night in Flint, the Generals dropped a 4-3 shootout against the arch rival Quad City Mallards at Perani's Arena. Selleke, Thomas and John DiPace scored the Flint goals. On Saturday night in Flint, the Generals were shutout by the Danbury Trashers 5-0 at Perani's Arena. Flint wrapped up the regular season with a 5-3 defeat at Quad City. Bobby Reynolds figured in all Flint scoring with two goals and one assist.

Sherwood/UHL Player of the Week Nominee – Player/Assistant Coach, Bobby Reynolds is our nominee for the Sherwood/U.H.L. Player of the Week ending April 10, 2005. In four games, Reynolds had ftwo goals and four assists for six points.
