February 20, 2010 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Tulsa Oilers News Release

The Tulsa Oilers will team up with their hockey partners, the Junior A Tulsa Rampage, on Sunday to present what is believed to be the first hockey doubleheader in the city`s history.

The Oilers will play their regularly scheduled Central Hockey League game against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at the BOK Center. Prior to that game, the Rampage of the Western States Hockey League will play the Boulder Bison at 12:30 p.m. Doors for the BOK Center will open at noon.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for us to help showcase the Rampage and what they provide for the community," Oilers general manager Taylor Hall said. "They help bring players into Tulsa from all over the country and help them delvelop in their career. Our fans should come out early Sunday and watch the Rampage. I know they will like it."

The Rampage`s usual home arena is the Oilers Ice Center at 64th and Mingo. But they are looking forward to playing at the BOK Center.

"The Oilers have been so supportive of our program, and our players are really excited about playing at the BOK Center. This is a fantastic opportunity for them," Rampage owner and general manager Julie Wilson said.

Fans can see both games by purchasing a ticket for the Oilers game. After the Oilers game fans will have a chance to skate on the ice at the Bok Center with the Oiler players.
