HIDALGO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League play the second of a three-game road trip this afternoon when they travel to take on Rio Grande Valley at State Farm Arena. Game time is 1:05pm.

Laredo enters today's game two points out of third place in the Southern Conference behind Texas having played one more game than the Brahmas (50 to 49). Texas hosts Odessa tonight.
The Bucks fell in Corpus Christi Friday night by a 9-4 score. Eight Ice Rays had multi-point games as Corpus scored four goals each in the first and third periods.
Despite Friday's loss the Bucks have earned points in eight of their last 10 games.
Laredo has a quick turnaround today as they will face off with Rio just 15 hours after completing their game in Corpus on Friday.
The Bucks enter today's game unbeaten against the Bees in regulation this season posting an 8-0-3 mark including a 5-0 record at State Farm Arena.
Laredo and Rio will play each other for the fourth time in five games and will face off a total of seven times in February. The Bucks ar e 3-0-2 so far in that stretch.
Adam Rivet will pass Steve Weidlich tonight for fourth place all-time in Bucks history with 302 games played.
Laredo will continue their fourth straight weekend three-in-three Saturday. Starting the weekend of Jan 29th Bucks will play three games in three nights in seven straight weekends. In all, from January 29th-March 14th the Bucks will play 22 games in 44 days (10 home, 9 away). They are 7-4-2 in that span.
The Bees beat Rapid City in a shootout Friday night.

The Bucks will hold "Give Blood, Play Hockey" on Saturday February 27 at the LEC. The blood drive runs from 8am-7pm in the concourse of the arena. Everyone who donates blood will receive TWO FREE TICKETS to the game, along with many other gifts.
