Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen hit the 50 win mark for just the third time in franchise history with a 5-2 win in Regina Saturday night.
Brandon Kozun (2g 1a) and Carson McMillan each scored twice while Paul Postma (1g 1a) added a single.
It was Kozun's second goal of the night that snapped a 2-2 third period tie and lifted the Hitmen to their second win in as many nights on the road.
Martin Jones made 31 saves in the Calgary crease to pick up the win while Keith Seabrook added a pair of assists.
The win improves Calgary's Western Hockey League leading record to 50-7-3-1. They sit four points ahead of the Vancouver Giants for first place overall.
The Hitmen will look to sweep their three game road trip Sunday night with a stop in Moose Jaw. Calgary is 3-0 against the Warriors this season.
The next Hitmen home game is Wednesday, February 18th against the East Division leading Saskatoon Blades. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
