
Hinds Hits Walk Off HR in 10th

Rece Hinds and Connor Phillips led the Lookouts to a 4-3 walk-off win in extra innings over the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
Before Hinds' heroics, Phillips was lights out for Chattanooga. The right-hander allowed two runs but struck out 12 in six innings. With 12 strikeouts Phillips became the first player in the Minor Leagues to reach 100 this season. He now leads all of Minor League Baseball with 101 Ks.
The Trash Pandas scored first and had a 2-1 lead heading into the sixth inning. On a 1-1 count, Hinds hit a 458 home run to tie the game up at two.
Tonight's game remained tied until the 10th when Rocket City scored on a Ryan Mesininger balk. Down a run, Hinds hit a game-winning 446 homer over center field. The outfielder is now nine for his last 13 with 3 HRs over 440 feet.
Tomorrow, Carson Spiers is on the mound for his second straight start. Tomorrow's contest is at 7:15 p.m. with gates at 6:00 p.m.
