WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 11, 2011 - The Highway 99 showdown begins Thursday, July 14 as the River Cats host the Fresno Grizzlies (Triple-A affiliate of the World Champion San Francisco Giants) in a four-game series July 14-17. It will be the final opportunity for fans to catch these two rivals in action at Raley Field in 2011. Country Night, A's vs. Giants night, Peace Love & Baseball and Dinger's Birthday Bash are all on deck for this not-to-be-missed series.
Fans can also take advantage of several recurring promotions during the homestand including Miller Lite Thirsty Thursdays featuring $2 beers on July 14, Toyota Family Value Fridays with $1 hot dogs and $1 desserts on July 15, Sutter Health postgame fireworks on July 16 and U.S. Bank Sunday, Funday with pregame autographs and the opportunity for kids to run the bases postgame on July 17.
Country Night - Thursday, July 14, at 7:05 p.m. Wear your best western wear and join in the fun festivities of Country Night at Raley Field. Local country music band, Branded, will be performing in the Jackson Rancheria Home Run Terrace.
