(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce that their merchandise was among the top-selling brands in Minor League Baseball for the 2009 calendar year.

Every year, Minor League Baseball compiles a list of the Top 25 teams in licensed merchandise sales. Rankings are based on wholesale sales reported from January 1 - December 31, 2009.

In 2009, the Mud Hens sold over 45,000 novelty items, over 22,000 t-shirts, and over 20,000 hats.

Director of Merchandise and Licensing for the Mud Hens, Craig Katz said, ""The Mud Hens are thrilled to be recognized once again on Minor League Baseball's list of the Top 25 teams in licensed merchandise sales for 2009.
