Hens Lose 6-3 to Yankees

The Yankees' bats got to starter Andy Oliver early, tagging him for four earned, in the Hens 6-3 loss on Memorial Day afternoon.

Oliver surrendered five hits and walked five through three innings in the loss for the Hens.

Brad Eldred was responsible for all the Hens scoring, blasting two homeruns in the losing effort. Eldred leads all of Triple-A with 20 homers this season. Ben Guez also added two hits for the Hens.

The Hens will take on the Yankees in game two of the series tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. Adam Wilk is set to take the hill for Toledo.

Game Notes

Matt Young and Justin Henry both snapped their four game hitting streaks.

The Hens have dropped three straight to fall to 24-27 on the year.

Brad Eldred leads the league with 56 RBIs.
