ROCHESTER, NY - The Empire State Yankees today host Day 28 of Baseball Month in Rochester at Frontier Field. The details for May 28:

GAME INFO: Toledo Mud Hens (LHP Andy Oliver) at Empire State Yankees (RHP Nelson Figueroa), 4:05 p.m.

HOSTED ORGANIZATION IN SUITE: Lifespan, which provides information, guidance and more than 30 services that help older adults and caregivers take on longer life -- from care management for eldercare to finding a job in retirement

RAFFLE ITEMS: Ernie Banks autographed baseball, Steve Garvey autographed photo, Brian Dozier autographed baseball, Francisco Cervelli autographed baseball

SPIKES APPEARANCE: 2nd-Annual Dash for Dad, a 5-K run and one-mile fun walk at Frontier Field that supports ZERO's mission to eradicate prostate cancer through awareness, outreach, advocacy and research

MONTH-TO-DATE RAFFLE TOTAL: $7,399

MONTH-TO-DATE ATTENDANCE: 82,569

Raffle tickets will be sold through the fifth inning. They are $1 apiece, six for $5, and an arm's length for $10. Winners will be announced at the end of the sixth inning.

Banks was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977 after a 19-year playing career with the Chicago Cubs. "Mr. Cub" was a two-time National League Most Valuable Player in 1958 and 1959, a 14-time All-Star, and a Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner for shortstops in 1960. Garvey enjoyed a 19-year playing career with the Los Angeles Dodgers (1969-82) and San Diego Padres (1983-87). He was the 1974 National League MVP, a 10-time All-Star, and a four-time Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner. Dozier, who began the 2012 season with the Red Wings, is batting .276 with a homer and 12 RBI in 28 games as the every-day shortstop with the Minnesota Twins. Cervelli is the Empire State Yankees' primary catcher, batting .238 with a homer and 17 RBI in 35 games.

Spikes has traveled 867 miles thus far during Baseball Month in Rochester.

Beginning today, Frontier Field is hosting six games in four days to close out Baseball Month in Rochester. Following the finale of the Yankees' 4-game series with Toledo at 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, the Double-A and Triple-A Section 5 High School Baseball Championships will take place along Morrie Silver Way.
