Henoc Muamba, Greg Reid and William Stanback Named on the 2019 CFL All-Stars

Montreal - The Canadian Football League announced on Wednesday its 2019 CFL All-Stars on which three players from the Montreal Alouettes were selected. Linebacker Hénoc Muamba, defensive back Greg Reid and running back William Stanback were voted CFL All-Stars.

Divisional All-Stars were chosen by Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) members as well as CFL head coaches.

In his second stint with the Alouettes, the Kinshasa, Congo native had a great season for a second straight year since his return in the nest. The 30-year-old athlete finished second in the league with 93 defensive tackles, a number that earned him the seventh all-time spot in Alouettes' history. He also forced two fumbles and made an interception. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian this past season.

William Stanback: 1st selection

In his second season in the CFL, Stanback reached the 1,000 rushing yards plateau as he finished the season with 1,048 rushing yards on 170 carries, while crossing the goal line five times. The 25-year-old also caught 33 passes for 329 yards. The Hempstead, NY native maintained a CFL leading 6.2 yards per carry average. On July 21, against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats he carried the ball 22 times for gains of 203 yards while adding 46 yards on one reception, allowing him to complete his day with 249 total yards.

Greg Reid: 1st selection

CFL All-Star: 2019

In his first full season with the Alouettes, the 29-year-old defensive back completed the season with 71 defensive tackles, good for third place on the team. He knocked down ten passes, a summit on the team, which puts him among the CFL leaders in that category. The former Florida State Seminole also made three interceptions, while forcing a fumble and recovering one.
