Stockton Heat News Release
STOCKTON, Calif. - Behind a 36-save effort from Jon Gillies and two-point nights from Kerby Rychel and Alan Quine, the Stockton Heat romped to a 4-1 win over Bakersfield Friday night at Stockton Arena. The win snapped an 18-game divisional win streak for the Condors that dated back to January 11. Rychel struck first, a quick release that found twine near the midway point of the first before Quine doubled the lead to two early in the second. After Bakersfield cut the lead in half, Dillon Dube pushed the game out of reach with a shorthanded goal to once again seize momentum just 2:31 after the Condors' goal, and Buddy Robinson punctuated the win with his marker at 4:43 of the third. The win was the fifth in Stockton's last six home games, having at least one over each team in playoff position in the Pacific Division.
