
Heat Lose Tight Game to San Diego 7-5, Play Baltimore at Home Sunday

Harrisburg Heat News Release
The Harrisburg Heat were defeated by the San Diego Sockers on Friday evening by a score of 7-5. With the win, the Sockers I mprove their record to 9-1 and increase their winning streak to nine games. The loss puts the Heat at 7-4 and in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The top four teams make the playoffs.
The Sockers were led by Brian Farber and Kraig Chiles who had three and two goals respectively for their team. Also scoring for San Diego were Cesar Cerda and Slavisa Ubiparipovic. The Heat had five different players score goals in the game. Hitting the back of the net were William Eskay, Tom Mellor, Dom Francis, Nelson Santana and Elton de Oliveira.
Daniel Villelahad three assists in the defeat. Elton de Oliveira had four blocks for the Heat and Dom Francis had three blocks. William Banahene recorded eleven saves in the goal.
The Heat host the Baltimore Blast on Sunday in a big Eastern Conference match up. Game time is 5:05 P.M.
It is Princess Night at the Heat game on Sunday.
