Heat Host Cleveland On Saturday

HARRISBURG, PA, Nov. 22, 2013 - The Harrisburg Heat will be looking to snap a two-game losing skid Saturday night when they play host to the expansion Cleveland Freeze in a Professional Arena Soccer League match at the Equine Arena of the State Farm Show Complex & Expo Center.

Kickoff is 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 5:35 p.m.

The game is the second of the season between the Heat (1-2) and the first-year Freeze (2-1), which beat the Heat 11-3 on Nov. 10 in Cleveland.

Saturday's game will be the Heat's only match for the weekend with their next game coming Saturday, Nov. 30, against Cincinnati in the Equine Arena.

SATURDAY'S HALFTIME SPECTACLE

The Heat will also host a celebrity all-star game at halftime of tomorrow night's game. Some of the local Luminaries planning to show off their soccer skills include Tanya Foster and Jason Bristol of CBS 21, Chris Garrett of Fox 43's morning show, Hawaiian Chris James of The X 105.7 FM, Chris Andree of The River 97.3 FM, Harrisburg city controller Dan Miller, former Parade Magazine high school All-American and collegiate All-American Geoff Honeysett, and Jim Pollihan, the indoor soccer legend who was the coach of the inaugural Heat franchise during the 1990s.

LOCALLY GROWN PRODUCT

The Heat's 17-man roster has a distinct local flavor with 14 players either born, raised or currently residing in an area stretching from Lancaster to Chambersburg. Five of the players - defenders Brad Kerstetter and Connor Malone, midfielder Kenneth Fultz, forward Mitchell Walters and goalkeeper Justin Johnson - were born in Harrisburg.
