Harrisburg Heat News Release
The Heat blew a 4-3 halftime lead, giving up four straight third quarter goals. The Heat rallied to within one with under a minute to play on Tyler Witmer's second goal of the game.
But, Syracuse goalkeeper Bryan O'Quinn held on down the stretch to secure the win.
Val Teixeira and Patrick Thompson also had two goals apiece for the Heat. Joey Tavernese scored twice for Syracuse.
Tim Mehl takes the loss in the net for the Heat, their 17th straight loss.
The Heat play their final home game of the season on Saturday February 27 at 7:05 at the Farm Show Large Arena.
