
Fury Season Ends with Heartbreaking Last-Minute Loss

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, had its season end Friday night as the Tacoma Stars scored in the final minute to beat Ontario 5-4 Friday night at ShoWare Center in Tacoma, Wash.
Michael Ramos scored with 39.3 seconds remaining to clinch the final Pacific Division playoff spot in the winner-take-all game for the final spot.
Ontario led 4-3 going into the fourth quarter, thanks to a pair of goals from Juan Topete and markers from Mauricio Salles and Tiguinho. But Tacoma scored twice in the final five minutes to take the game.
Joey Gjertsen scored twice for the Stars, while Derek Johnson had a goal and an assist for the Stars.
Ontario finishes its third season with a record of 12-8. Tacoma moves on with a record of 13-7.
