Wednesday Night MASL, Fury Host the Tropics
March 16, 2022 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) - Ontario Fury News Release
ONTARIO, CA - Tonight's game at Toyota Arena between Ontario Fury (9-6-2) Florida Tropics (15-1-1) marks the third matchup between the clubs. Back on December 18, the Fury prevailed 6-5 in what has proven to be the Tropics only loss thus far in the 2021-2022 MASL season.
The Fury are coming off a 5-4 loss to Chihuahua Savage. In that game, Franck Tayou recorded two goals and an assist, and while the Fury finished with two unanswered goals, the running clock proved to be too much to overcome.
Willie Spurr will be unavailable for the game and former Fury assistant coach Kevin Curtin returns to Toyota Arena for the first time after joining the Florida Tropics staff following the 2020-2021 MASL season.
