Hayden Hodgson Assigned from Cleveland Monsters (AHL) to the Monarchs

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced today that Hayden Hodgson has been assigned to the Monarchs by the Cleveland Monsters (AHL).

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings.

Hodgson, 21, comes to the Monarchs after playing in 24 games for the Cleveland Monsters this season, posting five points (2g, 3a). Hodgson has also played in three games for the Florida Everblades (ECHL) this season, without recording a point and racking up nine penalty minutes.

The 6-foot-2, 207-pound native of Windsor, ON., played in 294 OHL games over five years before turning pro this season. He totaled 157 points (87g, 70a) in his five seasons, split between three teams, and led the Saginaw Spirit with 38 goals in the 2016-17 season.
