Havoc Sign Forward Bowes to Amateur Tryout

HUNTSVILLE - Huntsville Havoc Head Coach Glenn Detulleo announced today the team has signed forward Josh Bowes to an amateur tryout with the reigning SPHL champions.

The Edmonton, Alberta, native recently completed his senior season with Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, where he was named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference first team. Considered one of the better two-way forwards in the conference, he finished the season ranked third in the league in goals (18) and points (39), and led the nation in short-handed goals (5).

During his four-year career with the Gulls, Bowes (6-0, 195) played in 102 games and recorded 117 points (56g, 61a). The 24-year-old played his junior hockey for the Johnstown Tomahawks in Pennsylvania.

Next Game

The Havoc are on the road in Georgia this weekend to take on the Macon Mayhem on Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16. The puck drops both nights at 6:30 p.m. CST. Follow the team on social media to see where you can watch or listen to the game.

Taco Tuesday

The team is back in the Rocket City on Tuesday, March 26 to host the Pensacola Ice Flyers for Taco Tuesday. We'll have $5 Margaritas and two tacos for $2. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
