Havoc Sign Defenseman As Educate Goes on Season-Ending IR

HUNTSVILLE, AL- The Havoc and head coach Glenn Detulleo announced today the signing of defenseman Eddie Nolan while filling the void left by Lou Educate.

Nolan joins the Havoc after finishing his collegiate career at Elmira College.

The Dorchester, Mass. native scored 19 goals and 14 assists for 23 points through 98 games over the last four seasons. The 24-year-old becomes the third former Soaring Eagle to join the Havoc behind Rob Simpson and John Clewlow. Nolan and Simpson were teammates from the 2013-14 season to the 2015- 16 season.

Coach Detulleo also announced today forward Lou Educate has been placed on season-ending injured reserve opening a spot for John Celli, who signed a three-game contract yesterday, to receive a player contract through the rest of the season.

Huntsville will take on the Columbus Cottonmouths for the final time this season Friday February 24th.

Both teams will sport specialty jerseys during the game to honor local police and fire with a postgame auction benefiting the Huntsville Police Citizens Foundations and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
